Our CEO Pierre Jallow and Senior Partner Heigo Erm kicked off our Estonian tour with a focus on promoting the East Africa Investor Tour. Our first stop was at Latitude59. A major event in North-East Europe or New Nordics as they say. Great atmosphere, interesting people, exciting interactions.
Fantastic work…again Liisi Org, Kaspar Kitsing, Dolores Daniel and the whole Latitude59 Team. Thank you! Here we had the opportunity to connect with innovative startups, investors and organisations. Some of them are already passionate about Africa’s potential, some of them yet to see success cases experienced by a friend or a partner.
During these interactions, we discussed exciting opportunities across sectors in East Africa and the importance of fostering investments that drive sustainable growth and technological advancement. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm from the Estonian/European startup and investment community towards East-African markets or was it a FOMO in some cases….
Our next stop was the Africa Business Forum 2025
Africa’s rapid digital evolution is opening new avenues for sector diversification, job creation, and improved livelihoods. Continuous investments in infrastructure and innovative solutions are vital to secure data sovereignty and promote green, sustainable development.
The forum touched on the importance of mutually beneficial collaborations, co-creation, and blended financing to drive impactful change. It was inspiring to see expert insights, shared experiences, and meaningful dialogues aimed at shaping the future of Africa’s economies.
We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, network, and connect with like-minded professionals dedicated to sustainable growth. Looking forward to nurturing these relationships and contributing to initiatives that support Africa’s bright future.
A big thank you to the organisers Daniel Schaer and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia , moderators Joel Karubiu and Anett Numa, and all participants for making this event insightful and impactful. It’s a must-see event so I’m sure we will see next time, our 4th.
